Our Story
Our story began when we were just 16 years old. From the very beginning, we’ve shared a love for the outdoors and the kind of adventures that come with it, whether it’s exploring new places, spending time in the mountains, or simply enjoying the peace that nature brings. Over the years, being outside has always been a special part of our relationship, a place where we feel most like ourselves and most connected to each other. That’s why it felt so meaningful to choose a wedding location that reflects who we are. Getting married at the Rowland family cabin, surrounded by the beauty of the mountains and so many cherished memories, is the perfect way to celebrate the journey we’ve been on together and the life we’re so excited to build next.
The Weekend
We’re so excited to turn our wedding into a full weekend celebration! Rather than just one special day, we want this to feel like a true campout getaway with all of our favorite people. Everyone is welcome to stay, settle in, and enjoy the entire weekend with us at the cabin. Spend your days soaking up the mountain air, catching up around the fire, exploring the outdoors, and making memories together. We can’t wait to celebrate not only our marriage, but also a weekend filled with laughter, connection, and the kind of relaxed adventure that feels most like us.
There will be plenty to do throughout the weekend for anyone looking to explore and have some fun. Bring your camping gear, fishing rods, and sense of adventure — the river just across the highway is a great spot to cast a line, and the surrounding trails are perfect for quadding and cruising through the mountains. Whether you want to spend the day out on the water, riding the trails, or simply relaxing at the cabin with a drink in hand, this weekend is all about enjoying the outdoors and making the most of our time together.
Friday
Friday is all about getting settled in and easing into the weekend! Guests are welcome to arrive, get trailers and tents set up, and make yourselves at home at the cabin. We’ll be spending the day decorating, getting everything ready for the big day, and enjoying some laid-back time together before the wedding celebrations begin. Think of it as a fun campout start, a chance to relax, explore, catch up with friends and family, and soak in the mountain weekend ahead.
Saturday
Saturday is the day we’ve all been waiting for, the big celebration! The day will begin with our wedding ceremony, surrounded by the mountains and all of our favorite people. Afterward, we’ll head into the reception for a delicious dinner, heartfelt moments, and plenty of time to celebrate together. Once the sun goes down, the party really begins with drinks, dancing, and a night full of laughter and unforgettable memories. We can’t wait to celebrate with everyone all night long!
Sunday
Sunday is all about slowing down and soaking up the last bit of the weekend together. After all the excitement of the big day, we’d love for everyone to stick around, relax, and enjoy the cabin life. Whether you feel like going fishing, riding quads, sitting by the fire, or just hanging out and enjoying the outdoors, the day is yours to unwind and have fun. It’s the perfect way to end the weekend with good company, fresh air, and lasting memories.
Monday
Monday is the final little bonus day of the weekend, a chance to enjoy one last slow morning at the cabin before heading back to real life. Sleep in, grab a coffee, share some laughs, and soak up the last bit of mountain air while everyone packs up at their own pace. It’s the perfect laid-back goodbye after such an unforgettable weekend, and we’re so happy we got to spend it all with you!

We kindly ask that you RSVP by March 1, 2027, so we can make all the necessary arrangements for our special day. Your response will help us plan for a celebration filled with love, laughter, and memories with all our cherished family and friends. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Children are more than welcome! We’re excited to celebrate with our littlest guests and can’t wait to see them join in the fun.

Mountain Chic! No need to go over the top, think nice, comfortable summer clothes that are easy to move in. The mountain weather can be unpredictable, so be prepared for anything. Casual, chic, and perfect for celebrating outdoors!

Simply pull in the first driveway, and there will be plenty of friendly guides to direct you to your spot. For trailers, we recommend arriving Friday so we can get everyone situated before the celebrations begin

We kindly ask that no photos be taken during the ceremony, our amazing photographer and videographer team will be capturing all the special moments for us. After the ceremony, feel free to snap away and take as many pictures as you like! We just ask that you hold off on posting any special photos until we’ve had a chance to share them first

We’re serving up a delicious BBQ for supper on Saturday night! Drinks will be provided, but since our celebration is going to last all night, we recommend bringing along your favorite beverages to keep you refreshed and ready to celebrate. With so many friends and family coming together, there will be plenty of cheers, laughter, and toasts, so pack your favorite drinks and get ready for a night full of fun!

Make the most of the weekend with plenty of outdoor fun and cabin time. Go quadding on the nearby trails, fish the river just across the highway, or simply relax and enjoy the mountains. We encourage everyone to bring their quads and fishing rods so we can head out for rides together and spend some time casting a line in the river. There will also be lots of time for games, campfires, and enjoying quality time with friends and family. Whether you’re here for adventure or just to unwind, we can’t wait to celebrate together!
